I'll try to get some measurements for you. Spring pad width and backing plate

My 85 c10 is about 58 1/2 backing plate to backing plate at the flange, spring perches are about 45 1/2.

What's wrong with your current one? Could maybe swap in a 90s one. You would have to move spring perches to make it work but there's a whole lot more of them available.

Hello, my old one has 2.73 gears. i would like to get a limited slip differential and 3.55 or 3.73 gears. I'm probably going to purchase the parts and put them in. I've checked with a couple of company's and a complete new 9 inch or 12 bolt is around $3800.00. that's a little steep!

Thanks for the reply!
