Oh yeah, it's the 10 bolt in the back of my '84 C15.

Also, BN3 should be the ratio, but I don't know what it is. All the charts I could find were for the 60's and 70's GM cars. I know the 80's charts are out there, because I've decoded my Camaro axles before.

Well no wonder it's freaking gutless off the line. It seems to be a little worse in warm weather, but everything motor related checks out great. I was chalking it up to a tired motor and low quality gas, but I guess it's bad gearing and low quality gas. Looks like I have yet another project.

Since I can't leave stuff alone, I'm going to swap in the original 3.42 rear axle from my Burb. My highway economy may drop a bit, but...

I found out today that a friend has a working 700R4 from an Astro van, with about 70K on it.. I know it will physically bolt in, but does the 700R4 have different internals for the V6's an V8's?

Also, I have a smoked 700r4 from my Camaro. Slips in forward gears, but reverse works fine. The TCI convertor in it cost nearly $400 and I'd like to get more use out of it. It should fine, shouldn't it?
