Make sure the O2 bung is pointed about straight up, or not more than about 30 degrees off straight up. This should ensure moisture in the exhaust will not stay on the sensor tip as the exhaust cools.

Here's their sheet on it. I have used free flo cats many times - they make great resonators and look purtee for areas that require them in inspections.

Instructions for my Innovate LC-1 AFR sensor tell you to install the bung between a 9:00 and 3:00 position in the exhaust pipe. Not sure why the Pro-Flo diagram is a little different, but it does give you better access to remove/install the sensor when it is angled to one side.

I think they also suggest it on the passenger side as the cable is more likely to reach to that side.
