Has anyone installed a set of Patriot #H8054 headers on a 2WD pickup?

I bought a set, and have at least 2 issues with them.

1.) the collectors are angled towards the frame on both sides. Is this just sloppy design and/or welding? I am using 3” exhaust cutouts, and the angle puts them way too close to the frame rail.
You must be registered for see images attach

2.) RH dipstick. Exhaust tube #2 has been routed under #4, and totally blocks the dipstick boss on the oil pan. I have a flexible dipstick and MIGHT be able to flex around the tube … but it will be in direct contact with the the header tube for about 2”.

PS. I’ve also had to install a Vortec starter on my setup. No room for a full-sized 10MT starter.

Just an FYI for anyone considering a set of these headers.

I’ve also ordered a set of Hedman #65002 headers to see if they are better. They have the ball and socket collectors on them which I’m hoping will be more “forgiving” on the angles.
