Yes, there were two different clunks going on in my situation. The truck still had the one that didn’t feel right after removing the rear DS. That’s the one I was concerned about fixing. The locker is what it is…

Locker gonna come out. No fun behind a manual trans outside of the dirt.
It's not that bad. Open or selectable locker or posi is better, yes, but a locker is just fine with a less-heavy right foot.

Has nothing to do with how heavy my foot is, if your turning on pavement....it sucks.

Has nothing to do with how heavy my foot is, if your turning on pavement....it sucks.
On mine it is slow 180* turns that are the problem, it will load up and begin to lurch, I have to depress the clutch to relieve the pressure on the drive train, and then it settles down.
