No brake lights. Running light work, turn sig works, haz works. What to do?

What would be the first thing to go for? I know grounds, seem to be okay. Everything works when it comes to having tail lights, haz lights blink, turn sig blinks, running lights stay lit. Some times, just sometimes, the brake lights work when I hit the brakes. 95% of the time, they dont. Im lost.

What are your thoughts??

does your brake light switch appear to be in working order and is it adjusted correctly? the adjustment has it come on slightly into the travel of the pedal. if it checks out, I would say do a simple switch test on it. 12volts goes in, goes out when depressed, should be nothing when not hit
