hi guys this is my first post and you guys have a very nice site. I hope someone will chime in .
I have been building this truck for my daughter. for about 6 months. I just got out rebuilt monster transmission running. when I first put it in gear it jumped into forward and reverse very firm and quick. I went around the block first gear then it went into second it was ok nothing strange. The truck is not reg. yet so i cant go far. next day went out for another lap it was fine. one week later went to move it and it acted like it was in neutral for 6 seconds or so then the same for reverse . i went up the road and when i let off the gas the truck free wheeled like it has no engine brake. but if i gave it gas it didn't move till i was on it up around 1500 rpms and jumped onto gear. it was not the same as the first trip around the block.
this transmission is a turbo 350. this is such a set back.
here is the specs. she wanted a mud truck

yea there's a couple plugs on the PS of it that can be used to check pressure.

Honestly the mod line is easy pull it off and check for any leaks by blowing thru it. see if the mod holds vac. with a hand vac. pump.

Then adjust the shifter linkage or cable. it sounds alot like when it's low on fluid, but if the pump is down or something it'd do the same thing I'd think.
