No, that wouldn't work at all. There's nothing wrong blocks in the rear of a 4x4 truck, as long as they aren't the hollow aluminum ones.

Unfortunately, the springs wouldnt work as is since they'd be too long. Even if you got a long enough shackle to work, it would have a terrible angle and would create a terrible ride.

Assuming the springs aren't all 60 inches, you could frankenstein the leaf pack together to create a higher load and height depending on the arch of the springs.
