Ive never touched coal in my life. And fyi its a motor... lol js
It’s the region, it’s in the air.....you have no choice in the matter and the thing that makes the wipers go, is indeed a motor. The thing under the hood hooked to the transmission is an engine.

Looks like the thermostat housing is leaking. The gasket costs two dollars. You'll need a 14 or 15 mm - 9/16 or 5/8 and a #2 flathead or 5/16 plus a pocket knife.

And some water.

Alright I have another question for you guys, When I got the truck to run I tried revving it a little however when I pushed down on the gas pedal it was stuck pushed down and continued to rev. I can’t remember if it slowly retreated back but pretty sure I had to manually pull it back. Could this be just a faulty spring that needs to be replaced or that’s missing? Closest I have to a picture of the gas pedal is this.

More then likely a ****** cable and or improper return springs at the carb

The spring you speak of is actually found attached to the intake manifold and carburetor, under the hood. It is a common, cheap part. ~OR~ the cable MAY be finished but that is much less likely ESPECIALLY since you corrected the "run-away idle" from inside the cab, with your hand.

What is 570?

And why did it garner this response?

Didn't know it was an electric vehicle! LOL! (Will this illicit a 570 response? Whatever that is?)
It’s an area code for northern Pa. up in the coal regions. I’m implying he’s got brain damage and he is acknowledging it with his response.
