I just purchased my first Squarebody recently. Its a 1977 K20, regular cab, long bed. It currently has a flatbed on it. I picked it up for $600. Found out it was WAY more rusted out than I thought, and a light refresh turned into a full rebuild. It has a 350 4 bolt, TH350 trans, and a 203 transfer case. The trans is blown, and I am in the process of rebuilding. I currently have the body off, and drivetrain out. Engine is about 70% torn down, Trans is all apart, and the transfer case is just getting a paint job and new seals.
I joined for future guidance with this project. This is my first big car/truck project and I am looking forward to the long road of restoring ahead. It wont be a show truck, but I want it to be reliable and look ok.
