New guy with his first square body

Hi everybody, like the title says, I just picked up my first square body a couple weeks ago. I managed to find a 76 C10 for $600 and couldn’t pass it up. I plan to restore it over the next few years. It has the typical rusted out floor pans and rockers and some dents and dings here and there, but I love it just the same. Just dropped the motor off at the machine shop yesterday to get cleaned, bored, new cam bearings, etc. I came across this forum while searching for a replacement hood because mine doesn’t have one, and I’m stoked to have this resource, as I’m coming from LS land and this is my first venture into 350 town. Similar, but a little different. Thanks to everyone who makes places like this possible!

Very new to squares myself. Bought mine a little over a year ago but due to house moves and workshop building just got around to working on it the last few months.

This forum has been a god send. Some very knowledgable folk on it, making some of my jobs a lot easier and quicker.
