Welcome aboard from a fellow '90 'burb owner! Always puts a smile in my face to see one in base level trim. Pretty cool.

Any thoughts on putting a 4l80e trans from a '96 diesel in my burb?

Hey I'm just "down the road" in Fredericksburg. If you need help or want to talk shop, give me a holler. There is always cold adult beverages in the shop fridge. I am always looking to swap parts or chase down parts if need be. I have a knack for finding needed parts.

Sounds good!!!
I actually bought my burb in that area. From a Stafford county sheriff.
Thankfully my truck is complete with NO rust...
My big plan is a 12v Cummins and NV5600 swap...
Some day....

Yikes, I just realized v2500 is using TapaTalk so he might not have realized the electrical posts were moved to a new thread. There are responses here Jay.

Nice. That thing is clean and basic. But still has rear air. Oh and a tailgate. :waytogo:

It's odd how people used to option these trucks. It's also nice to see yours is still in such great shape!

I love my burb. I have a 1986 c20 big block that used to be Buckets. I got it out of storage the other day since I was short a tow rig. I forgot how nice one is to use to pull a trailer.

Yep. I used to let it sit when the weather was crappy, then taking it back out on the road made me remember "ah, so nice".
