The stock steel wheels had 1.5" spacers AND bargain tires so I'm sure my ride was suffering a bit. Not sure if the spacers were required to make the steelies fit or if they were added for stance. I've only had the truck for a few weeks so I haven't gone over everything yet. Anyway, today I picked up a set of Falken WildPeaks (31x10.5) on American Racing Outlaw I wheels (15x8). No more spacers and from what I can tell I'm at stock ride height with no plans for a lift so that's why I didn't upsize. I always liked this style of wheel and I think they suit the square body nicely. I'm surprised I don't see 'em more often on these trucks.

I've enjoyed my falken wildpeaks so far. Seem like good tires. I do like that style of wheel as well. Wayyyy better than the overused, oversized cragars.

I had 'em on my ex-2010 Raptor and was real happy. Relatively quiet and comfortable on the highway with pretty good grip in the snow/dirt/mud. They aren't horribly priced either so they were an easy choice.
