May be gaudy but it's my style and is going on the truck! My new hood ornament

Just ordered it today... been mulling this over for 2 years. I drive it so much these days I think it would be a badass addition. gaudy or not, it's fookin cool. I think I'll love seeing the angry duck out there leading the way, and never know it might worry or scare some people which is always humorous...:happy107:

What do you guys think? think it'd be ok on my junky old work truck...ha

Beside if I change my mind, it'll be 2 welds and a hood repaint away... and my body man impressed me big time with his color matching skills... :happy107:

the thing only comes in nickel or gold plating... I got the bright nickel... will nickel be ok out in the weather? or should I send it off to be chromed before I install it?

Tarnish is bad, relatively effort free shininess is golden....

I think people are going to yank on it just to see how well it's attached.

Has to be spring mounted like a factory hood ornament, then you can have it set off a taser when the spring moves. Or it could sound the horn if you want to be boring.
