Hey, I have a 85 Silverado 2wheel drive, problem the radiator had been changed by previous owner and is shorter than original. Makes it hard to get the radiator cap off. Maybe I’m trying to make this difficult but I need to have ideas as to how to raise the radiator 2 1/4 “, I was trying to use some 2x4’s but seems to be getting in the way of the fan shroud. I know some of you have done body lifts and was wondering how you handle this. Thanks

I used trimmed down 2x4s... you're on the right track.
