So I put new tanks and sending units in my 87 v20 a while ago, not long after the left side quit working. When I switched to it, it would just die. I recently replaced my distributor, now when I switch tanks the gauge spins counter clockwise 360°+ and the truck stutters and dies. Switch to the other side and the fuel gauge spins 360°+ clockwise and stops at tank level
