I have a ton of wheels but never heard of a western. Pic for example?
Western was a brand of custom aluminum wheels, I think they were part of Rockwell. They had a few styles of turbine spokers, a couple of slot mags, and a Cragar SS/Torq thrust type. My Dad had the Western turbines on his '75 Sierra Classic, painted inside the spokes Willoway Green to match the truck. These had a lot of spokes about an inch apart at the hub, and the spaces between spokes were tapered. Similar to mid 60s Corvette wheels....Had plastic center caps that were chrome with a big W on the end, said Western Wheel IIRC. Later versions were a different shape and finned; I have 3 of those.
