I have a 1979 K20 with a 350, I'm having issues getting it started using the key. I can jump the starter and get it going, but I get nothing using the key. Any thoughts?

A bit more information on this now that I have time. When I bought the truck it was wired to jump the starter because the key was broke in the ignition lock cylinder. I replaced the lock cylinder and removed the wires. I repaired the wire they cut to jump the starter. I thought that would have fixed it but it won’t start with the key.

I looked at that, looks like it has a jumper wire on it.

Sounds like you have more wiring to trace.
