Has anyone done the Humvee swap out? I own a 1985 C20 and have a crippled engine. I have been able to locate a new surplus Humvee 6.2L diesel from Camp Lejuene. The pulley systems don't run exactly the same and they may be one or two other slight differences but I think it will work. Any thoughts...

I would research it more but I know for a fact the manifolds are a direct bolt in with new gaskets of course. as for the pully system I don't see why you system will not work

google hummer 6.2 to trucks swap or something along those lines. Im sure many others have done this swap because there are tons of those motors in crates from when they changed them all out for 6.5s

Don't they use the same blocks.

Couldn't he just bolt all his C20 stuff onto the Humvee block?
