Stumbled upon this today. Yep, that whole "pile of scrap metal" is destined for the crusher/recycler.

4 CUCV, 1 Blazer. Loaded frames. Dana 60's, 14 FF, Lockers, Turbo 400's, 208 t-cases, brush guards....

I wish there was a way.....sigh.

I know, right?
Ffs, going scrap rate is like, 2,000 pounds of steel doesnt equal crack rocks.

Give the mf a 500$ for EVERYTHING.

That's more than THEY make scrapping it out.

The "mf" is the U.S. Gov. It's not that easy.

Since it’s the govt, it’ll take 1 year to do an environmental impact study, 8 months to apply for transfer permits, 6 month moratorium on moving them due to the rare desert cactus swallows nesting season, 4 months to contact a hauler, 3 months to schedule them, a congressional expenditure release of $12657/ea for disposal cost allocations and another 120 days to actually get them gone....
So 1 part per day smuggled out and it will be all yours, Johnny Cash style by Dec 2022, well ahead of their actual departure date to the big smelter in the sky!

PS, ain’t no one want those 17 leaf rear spring packs unless they’ve already had their spleen removed and are toothless! So you should have everything by November instead...

Out here, the yards make racks for frames and whole cars. They fit about 3 high and are lifted and lowered with 4x4 Fork lifts. Thats what ya need
