I finally have another square and wanted to say hi.
1985 K20 6.2 4x4 TH400 NP208 Suburban
50K original miles, I verified with the DMV since I didn't really believe the clock hadn't been rolled but being the third owner it all checked out. I have started on some rust repair of the rockers and changing out all the fluids. Started with the engine oil which didn't look to have been changed for quite a while since then I have moved on the to the front and rear diffs, transfer case, transmission filter and will soon be doing a radiator flush, power steering and brake flush. AC does not work needs to be redone which will be later on this year or next. I want to put a lift on it just not sure what I want to go with since I won't be doing too much off road with it. My son loves this burban I couldn't imagine how big this must be to a 2 year old. Any tips for lifts which no matter what will be pain to put on I am sure since every part of it will be rusted. I didn't know these were made without a third row which I would like. I need to do away with the carpet box that is in the back and add the third row just not sure if any mounting brackets would be there.
