Hi i’m trying to sort the wiring on my ‘76, focusing on the lights at the moment. The rear lights i’ve connected as they weren’t connected before but i’m confused where the earth is meant to be? i can see it on the wiring diagram but there isn’t anything coming off the back of the light on either side. On the drivers side there’s a cut earth connected to the frame and just dangling so i’m assuming it had one at some point but can’t figure out where it should go

On mine, when I replaced the rear lights and a harness, the harness had a ground but there was also a ground from the firewall to the drivers rear taillight area. I have the new witing harness, fusebox etc but haven't researched enough or have any education on wiring to start this part of the build. I did start identifying the wires...I don't know if that ground is supposed to be there or not but will soon figure it out.

Just went through similar on my K10. Weird tail light issues. Added a ground wire and viola!
