Hey guys, I got told my truck has 3.73 but looking forward into it it does right about 2 grand at 55. ive only had it up to 70 once and it looked like it was at a lil over 2500. I tried a couple rpm calculators and it seams 3.08 add up to the rpm at that speed with my tire height if i got that right. its a 76 454 th400. is the final gear ratio on the th400 1.1 or is that wrong?

Yeah the TH400 is 1:1 but there is a little slipage from the torque converter.

Ok.. well with 3.08 its 1975 rpm. i could have the tire size wrong though so im going to check into that.

That 454 probably pushes those 3:08's just fine.
