fuel pump still good?

Possibly only way to tell is put some gase in the tank a hot battery and get it to turn over. Id unhook the fuel line to the carb and let it pump into a catch can of some kind untill you know its pumping clean gas so you dont fill the barb with trash.

Fuel pumps are cheap, I would change it. The rubber diaphragm is probably dry rotted and cracked.
