how hard would it be take fuel injection set up off say a 87 chevy truck and put on an older 350? and would you loose or gain power?

Not worth the work. you can still use TBI on an older 350, you just need to drill out the center manifold bolts holes to match the angle of the outer corner bolts.
Older 350s were rated at 160-165 hp, TBI was 200-210.

Woop, you got me Jeremy. I thought he was talking about going backwards from 87 to a carb.
In that case, going to TBI FROM carb is definately worth it.

You have to elongate the 2 center bolt holes on the intake (or swap your 87-95 heads over), swap sending unit in tank, fuel lines ran, ecm and harness installed. Good to go!

If your planning on buyin a TBI setup why not go even newer? Unless you already have it layin around.

i was just wondering how hard it would be to do it. its one of those things i have thought about but it would take the back burner to everything else i need to get done. you know what i mean?
