So I have had my '85 K20 Suburban for a long long, time. Recently, I started really checking the frame closely for cracks, anomalies and problems. Found nothing, except an in-line fuel filter on the passenger side frame rail that I have not noticed before. Or if I did, I forgot about it. Anyway, this truck is a two owner, first by the Fed.gov, and I am the second. The filter install looks factory, but I find no reference in the factory service manual. OEM engine was a 350 with SM465 tranny. Maybe someone here has a insight on an ID for this here filter. I plan on replacing the filter and the rubber if I can, but I dont want to remove it until I can find a replacement. Pics attached...
