I was wondering what everyone is doing with front speaker for their truck. I currently just have the speakers for behind my seat but I'm looking to mount some in the front. I was thinking of making my own speaker mounts but I want to know what everyone else is doing with their setup.

Do the stock speakers and the mounts exist in your dash corners or is there just a one in the center of the dash?
Not familiar with your year, was the original radio AM or AM/FM?
I used Kenwood KFC-835C 3.5-inch Round Car Speakers with my stock brackets for dash replacements in my '85.
Just have to watch overall speaker height to avoid the dash from bulging up for whatever you get.
Dash removal required and an excellent time to replace it if it is cracked, damaged, etc.

I got some factory front speaker brackets from a truck in a scrap yard. I installed Pioneer 3 1/2" speakers. They are attacked to the bottom of the brackets for better dash clearance.

Gots to be more specific. Your truck, from the pic likely doesn’t have the dash corner speakers and brackets. So the double center speaker is the way to go. Or kick panel speakers.

I'm going to do the 4 corners of my crew cab. Sub in the middleish. Maybe a center speaker in the dash

Perfect? No. Way better than factory? For sure
