Pull the three mounting screws. Iirc, there's a backer plate spot welded to the skin. I've got three of those fenders, but haven't looked at them in a while.

There's a chance I might just be remembering the Celebrity fenders though, lol.

Quoting my own post because I finally remembered to look.

Here's an '88 fender that had the antenna installed from GM. It had been hogged out for an aftermarket antenna at some point, but it clearly shows the original mounting.

I know it’s been a few months but figured I’d chime in since this is what went over that hole in the fender on OPs truck, it’s on eBay right now for $65 plus shipping. I’ve got the same thing on my ‘87, just got done reusing it as a mount for a CB antenna. The pre-‘88 GM accessory antenna. I heard someone call these “Camper Special antennas” before, they said the accessory antenna was popular with Camper Special owners because the slide-in camper front hangs over the windshield/antenna and affects AM/FM reception. No idea why my 4X4 SWB would need one except it spent most of its life in Deep West TX where you’d have a hard time pulling in a good radio station with the windshield antenna so they decided to add one on the fender? IDK.
