Delivered 2 tons of Sewer-Savers to the city of Galveston yesterday. On the way back w/ empty trailer the engine power dropped way down, 30 mph max. Barely got back to shop, popped the hood and found both O'Reilly inline fuel filters had failed, dumping almost 1 years worth of trash into carburetor.

O'Reilly house brand, less than one year old, made in Taiwan; the glue holding the filter element simply unglued in both filters. Will be going w/ Wix 33003 next time, should anyone have any better idea please chime in.

never use clear filters long term. Always went with metal ones. There were a lot of documented cases of fire because of clear filters failing.

Just the heat under the hood will make them things fail.
