What engine mounts work best in a 82 with a 2010 5.3 & 6l80e tranny? Like to run stock A/C compressor and location. It not able to clear frame what relocation bracket works?

If the AC compressor is in the same spot as it is on my 2011 Suburban you'll have a really hard time getting that to fit. Is this a 2wd or 4wd?

Can I modify the frame & reinforce it, for clearance.

I would change to a high mount ac bracket. I did this for my 6.0 ls swap.
No need to modify the frame. Can use the stock 82 ac style compressor (R4).
ICT makes a bracket along with holley. Should work with the factory 5.3 truck pulleys.

I have seen these work. I haven’t pulled the trigger myself yet.
It is close, but since it uses the smaller compressor it works. Some have shaved the frame to assist in ease of install.
Angled fittings are sometimes required or used again for ease.

The biggest issue isn’t with the fitment, but the argument that being so low is hard on the compressors.

Mine is a 73 K10 4wd, using dirty dingo engine mounts! Not enough clearance to mount the OEM bracket let alone the compressor. second picture is the holley high mount. This is a 2004 LM7 5.3

I would contact dirty dingo and see if they solved the issue!
