Electrical connector help

I’m installing a new engine in my 85 k10 Silverado, original 305 truck. This connector in the attachment, I don’t know what it went to, if anyone has an unmolested truck or info as to where it went to that would be a great help. It has a fusible link in line, and at some point for a little close to the manifold. Thank you

Have you located a connector for the distributor? I’m not sure what your connector is for but the fusible link makes me think it’s for the distributor.

Yes the distributor wire has one as well. Trucks been in the family since new. Just doing a rebuild in it and that connector was not plugged in, as well as the knock sensor. And a 5 pin plug that was for the oem distributor.. I vaguely remember a double stacked plug at the hei positive side of the distributor. But not sure if it was this vehicle or another one that I worked on moons ago. Thank you for the reply,
