Dome light mod issue

I just mounted new led lights on the bottom of my 89 suburban and I'm trying to run them with the dome lights but I can't figure out how to wire them in. I've tried the door switch and that wasn't working. The led lights have power and ground wires running off of them. Any ideas on how I can run the leds on the outside with the dome lights so when I open my doors they come on?

You need to use the orange constant positive wite feom the dome light circuit and the white switched ground from the dome light circuit.
