I'm installing a 94 12v with a dodge auto, into my 85/87 1 ton. I was wondering if anyone knows what I should do about the computer and wiring. There appears to be alot more spaghetti in this dodge engine compartment than I was expecting. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks

What computer, should be able to just tuck the wires and run basic ignition wiring.

12 valves aren't run on computers, everything is mechanical. If you had a 24 valve then you would have a problem.

I'm currently installing a 47re trans in my project. I have compiled pin outs and pic diagrams and what I've done so far. Was waiting till I got it running to make sure I had everything right, but I can give you what I know so far

You might find it easier to look for a 47RH transmission instead - the strength should be identical, just 100% hydraulic so no wires to mess with. Thats what i'd considered doing for a potential cummins swap before deciding i'd rather go nv4500 manual.

Alternately there's that megasquirt system for DIY fuel injection, they have a sister project of sorts (whose name I forget) meant for controlling electronic transmissions and such... there may even be a crude way to control it just with switches at the start - a guy on youtube used a 4L80E with no computer or controller, just manually hooked 3 switches to the servo controls (2 switches for binary control of the 4 forward gears, 1 for converter lockup I believe). The early electronic transmissions were pretty simple.
