I have an 85 C10 that I'm doing an LS swap and want to use the cruise control wiring to send the VSS signal to the computer. There are five wires. Just not sure what each wire is for. I've looked through the wire harness section and couldn't find the plug that I have. I'll post pictures of the wiring and plug.

The VSS signal comes off the speedo head, and plugs into the speed buffer. It’s a greenish colored box somewhere near the speedometer housing. There is a connector that comes out of that for the speed sensor signal the the ecm and cruise module.

There is an also a yellowish colored module that looks very similar to, that’s the remote lamp driver. Its purpose is to send/receive a signal from the ecm. If it doesn’t get the signal, it turns on the check engine light.
