This is old news, just thought Id share. I pulled this running 350 engine out of my k10 when I installed a 383 in it. I ran this engine for 3+ years with zero issues. The plan was to rebuild this block for my K5, well, until I pulled the intake and saw this.... LOL

Somewhere out there is a 327 in a mid 80s Firebird with epoxy in the intake valley.

A friend built the engine, lots of fancy new parts and machine work, but didn’t bother with magnaflux. Couldn’t figure out why the oil always looked like chocolate milk. I don’t recall how he found the crack, but smeared epoxy over it and drove it for a couple years before selling it.

Sure it’s not a 327????
