After swapping out my rear window for a slider, redoing the Interior and dealing w rust (black converter spray) ive decided it’s time to clean it up and cover it.
I was looking to buy the trim moldings that run along the edges of the cab and hood the headliner, as well as buying a new headliner. Is there any significant difference in quality from the new stuff vs the old? I know some people tend to praise OE and only use OE, but I detest using 30+ old plastics when it can be avoided.
price wise new is cheaper by about 30-50$ depending on the eBay market.
Pics showing the interior currently
also open to other ideas in how to resolve the black spots, inside paint is original, but the rattle cans that supposedly paint match don’t. I also considered painting the inside black but that seems like a ton more work.
Ideally I’d like it to look 7-8/10 where as now I feel like it’s 4-5/10.
