Finally got mine measured and it does appear to be 3" and kind of have a notch vs a a perfect circle around the air inlet valve. ill reach out to a couple of yall tomorrow!

I got home from unexpected work @6am.
Went to nap and missed by 10am dentist appointment.
That really sucks because the NEW appointment is twenty days away and I has cavity now.
Right this second I'm sitting on the couch listening to DVORAK , havin a bong full of Super Skunk, waiting on the coffee pot AND THEN IT HIT ME!
Yeah- the Skunk- but what was I supposed to do today?
Seems like there OUGHTA be something!
AND RIGHT THEN I seent the spanky new box I found that has THE $5 trim ring in it.
Uhhhhhhhh.....Oh yeah!

That's gonna happen today old boy. Ima get up here in a little bit then I'll run to UPS n shippit.

Strange. It appears this may be a unicorn moment...one of them deals you only hear about...it's almost like one of those rare times that I dont know wtf im talkin about - so I'll shut up.
About that.
5 bucks + the shipping. No handling charge bro, I got a box.
Just because I was curious, I measured the one on Goldie.
From the inner lip to the outside of the flat is 2 inches.
Adding in the outer portion gets you roughly 2 and 3/4 ".
Not sure where 3 inch comes from .
Mine has the cut out for the value stem, not just a notch.
I always thought 2wds got narrower ones than 4wds.
Anyhoo, just a note on beauty rings AKA "rim trim" for searches down the road!
