I sure do hope so. Cause I have the timing set at 6-8° btdc and its kind of sluggish and its still doing it. So I dont think its ping or detonation.

area ya some paint, chalk, our somethin and put it around that gasket. Let it dry our what ever and drive. If that's ah leak it will show.

I bought myself a Pair of these for my monte, and so far they are excelent.
Alot of people swear they seal better than the aluminum, but these are a prettier penny. So I guess it just comes down to how much you want to spend.
A pair of these is $50. And the matching collector gaskets are $22

And im not bashing the aluminum ones, cause i havnt ever used them.

you know felpro makes metal coated header gaskets. they are what I run. that one in the pic looks real thin on the outside sealing surface. highdesertranger
