I recently purchased this truck and was cleaning up some wiring spaghetti under the hood. I removed the compressor wires but don’t remember which terminal is positive and which is negative. Help please.

Coil does not really care which is gnd. When current flows it will pull the clutch in. But I would insulate the positive wire.

Add a diode to protect your other electronics. They can be had from any auto parts store.

IIRC, on my compressor the black wire is grounded to the body of the compressor.
