Good morning/afternoon - Wanted to get some opinions from members:

Truck details:
1989 Chevy 3500, flatbed dually
454
SM465
Current transfer case : 32 spline np241c, manual shift, drivers side drop
IFS, front diff has posi-lok
Current truck weight: ~8,700 lbs

Truck usage:
Primary use is for firewood hauling, so it gets used and abused pulling trees around etc.

Question: Transfer case needs more parts than it's worth, should I replace with 241c or take the opportunity to use different case?

Thanks in advance

I'd just put another common 241 in it. Far cheaper than any other options I can think of.
