My sons accelerator cable frayed and stopped working on his 87 diesel blazer. We purchased a pioneer 8503 cable, and the ball detent distance from the pedal is wrong and the cable does not work.
Reading on hillbilly wizard, sounds like this is a common issue, but while I was out of town, the son ordered one from LMC. Does anyone have any experience with LMC's diesel cable? We need to get his rig running again, and rather than wait for the cable to arrive, and then figure it out, hoping to get the right one coming.
