I bought some ladder racks from a 2001 GMC ("GM" molded into the endcaps of the load bars) to use on my '86. The purchase was semi-sight-unseen and I misunderstood that the rails mount vertically _inside_ the bed.
After a bit of teeth-grinding and noodling, I realized I like this setup. It is relatively easy to adapt to my truck and there are some interesting possibilities.
I would like to know more about these rails and available accessories.
Can anyone identify these and supply some info about the product name and who the actual manufacturer may have been?
Additionally, If someone has a set of the 'sliding' risers that move back and forth on the rails, and would be willing to part with 'em, I may be interested.
I'll add photos of the install after it's done. Only got 'em cleaned before the rain hit today....
