I'm in the process of bringing a 1983 1/2 ton back to life and I'm putting in a 406 from another project.I bought the truck without an engine and need to know what the proper crank pulley looks like. The one I have uses both a serpentine and V-belt arrangement but I'm not sure if this was used on this truck.Does anyone have a picture or a link to where I can find this info?

You can use that one if you want. You just need the matching water pump pulley and alt pulley. I kinda like the setup because the alt belt has a little less tendency to slip.

Use one of the green fleetrunner heavy duty flat belts from gates. I think I got my on ebay for about $12 shipped. They are rated for higher loads/heat resistance and are good for over 100,000 miles. I got one on my C30 and while it looks kind of funny, being green, it was made really well and is holding up well.
