Last fall I purchased a 1978 Suburban C20. Its been quite the project so far, one thing to the next it seems. We're up to tackling the AC now. It has a 454 but there is no belt on the AC pump which still turns freely. We purchased if from someone who didn't know the history but 'thought' it worked for whatever that's worth. Anyhow looks like there are 3 pulleys that are involved in trying to put the belt on it, the crank, power steering and AC pump. I've googled as much as I know how and dug into youtube but I can seem to find how the belt is supposed to route. Not a great picture, but Ive attached what I'm staring at presently. Does anyone have any leads on where I can get a picture of how the belt is supposed to route? Also probably a dumb question but is there an easy way to see if there is freon in the system so I can see if its even worth jumping thru these hoops?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
