Hey y'all I'm a new owner of a 1977 square body chevy. Interior needs everything but I want to get the doors settled before anything.

They're powered from what I know I seen a harness in the driver side door, the driver side is almost completely empty besides the window but and door latching stuff but no window motor interior door handles basically nothing.

I didn't check if the passangerside had a wire harness or not, but it has door latches and that's it no window nothing

So my question is can I take any year of door for the SBC and take the powered stuff and install it the doors I have now? The reason I don't want to swap doors is because they're rust free and have no dents so I don't want to downgrade

Also these are window motors reliable? Or would it be worth it to put the crank windows in?

My factory window motors lasted from 1985-2017 (passenger), 1985-2023 (driver).

The switches on the other hand? 1985-2012, 2012-2014, 2014-2014, 2014-2018, 2018-2022, all driver side, passenger side is factory original.

I’d prefer crank windows, owner (wife) wants it to stay power windows/locks. Even though I have a parts roach with perfect manual window regulators, locks, handles and door cards, so could convert it for free.
