1985 c10 lower radiator hose cold
1985 c10 with 4.3 v6 My lower radiator hose does not get hot, although the truck does not overheat. I have flushed the coolant, replaced the thermostat, replaced both heater core hoses, and ensured I have flow through the heater core. I am just confused about why the lower hose doesn't get hot...- TheRealDylan

1987 suburban tbi 350 overheating.
‘87 Suburban with TBI 350. As I drive up the road the temp gauge will climb to ~220-230, then fall back down to thermostat temp. It will do this repeatedly. Frankenstein 454 swap. Overheating at idle.
Some background... Ive got a nearly rust free 1983 4x4 Suburban. Based on the vin, it started its life as a 6.2 diesel. Previous owner swapped out for a 454 w/ th400.
