    caltracs are fairly popular among the duramax trucks from what ive seen, but i think the u bolts have to be the square ones with the plates under the axle. this is what i am thinking though, it should have the flex i need/want and fix the wheel hop

    picked it up from the shop this morning, everything is all good, shifting as it should, 1-2 is pretty stout, 2-3 is firm and quick, its too slick to really get on it, but its stalling like it should, everything seems to be working good

    so far, i forgot to put a spring in the 1-2 shift valve, my governor was about to fall apart, the weighted part was super wobbily off the top, and my vacuum modulator was on the wrong port,(has been for about 4 years, never noticed) but he said its working good now

    will do, thanks for the help. he test drove it and was like no, so we will see, he sounded pretty confident its either the vb or governor and in all honesty, i dont know why it would be starting in 2 or 3, or why it doesnt go back to 1 at a stop

    also, i just realized i did NOT replace the teflon seal on the end of the input shaft that goes into the lower part of the trans, dont know if that makes a huge deal
