262 to 350 crate: help
So my 262 v6 is done.. no chance in saving it and do not want to rebuild it. I want to replace it with a 350 crate engine. I would like everything (including labour) to be about 3,000 dollars. 1986 Sierra Classic Wont Idle!!
4.3 v6 quadrajet m4med Cannot get truck to idle after taking off and cleaning carburetor. Choke is working g properly and truck idled (high) while running on choke (after messing with choke idle screw). Once warm it will not idle. Have tried backing in and out idle adjustment screw on drivers...- domino33

1986 K1500 Starting Problem After Cleaning Q-Jet
Okay so carb was gummed up bad. It is a Quadrajet M4MED. Engine is a 4.3l v6. I took carb off, did a pine sol soak, then a water/dish soap soak. Inside wasn't as dirty as expected. So I put it back on, hooked all vac lines up how they should be. Thing looks nice sitting in there... Went to turn...- domino33
