So I got the manuals today. And it's not going to be that bad. There are areas that require a bunch of spot welds, BUT they are all in places I'm not going to have to do any! Above the front window and the back above the doors are where the vast majority of spot welds are! looks like w/o those...- w-cummins

It's 6, that's SIX days driving out and back to your location, I do it every year! Also a loaded 91 v2500 ( about the only thing it didn't have was the rear heater) isn't going to be 2k even in your area, the dam transfer case is worth all most 1k by its self.. So I went and looked it appears that 83 is the latest version they have, do you have it? the sample page of the table of contents, has a big part of it that is blacked out. that is kinda what I'm thinking of doing the back and front pillars are easy (that's why I asked about the seams and it they are welded up or not) even it they are the back one is only about 8 inches long- w-cummins

are the seams welded or just have seam sealer in them? I have seen the sanded down A pillars and it looks like they were brazed on there. Are the sides spot welded where the bolts are, to the window flange and the top of the door openings? I have the whole roof off the parts truck and I have...- w-cummins

The rest of the truck is super clean I'm not sure how they rusted out the roof probably parked it under some pine trees... As for the bolting on it clearly does it looks like it's only the front is welded- w-cummins
