    thank you. yeah it is an odd duck this one. that divorced setup looks like the one on my 77 power wagon. but mine is an electric heated with a heat well.

    nothing but put my TDI parts in it. once i get moved i will bring it down to work and rip the trans out to fix the pivot ball.

    finally got it figured out. and its a STUPID issue. something that no one even thought about. the original bolts for the pressure plate were too long for the replacement flywheel and pressure plate. it left it loose and just moving on the springs. hence no clutch. but it drives like a champ now...

    no it just goes up the firewall to the master which is no higher than the exhaust manifold.. slave is on the drivers side. i have pumped it a bunch so hopefully this works. its up on the lift now so hopefully i can get it working for our customer.

    over a month, and she fired up PERFECTLY. seems to have a slight miss though. i will figure it out soon enough. cant drive it yet, but soon. same for my bug. i miss driving both of em.

    Wiper fluid/wiper problem

    does sound like a switch to me. but there again it could be a wiring issue. check the wiring first. a little multi meter time will shed some light on whats going on.
